
Fried Chicken (Caribbean-Style) with Buffalo Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN:
- 3 pcs chicken wings (or any chicken part of your choice)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Lemon juice, from ¼ lemon
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- All-purpose flour, for coating
- Cooking oil, for deep-frying
- FOR THE BUFFALO SAUCE:
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ cup catsup
Instructions
- FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN:
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except for the flour and oil. Marinate the chicken for 1 to 3 hours.
- Coat the marinated chicken with flour evenly.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan. Deep-fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove from heat then drain excess oil using wire rack or tissue paper.
- FOR THE BUFFALO SAUCE:
- In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix well. Pour the sauce to the fried chicken.
