Fried Chicken (Caribbean-Style) with Buffalo Sauce Recipe
 
Ingredients
  • FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN:
  • 3 pcs chicken wings (or any chicken part of your choice)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Lemon juice, from ¼ lemon
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • All-purpose flour, for coating
  • Cooking oil, for deep-frying
  • FOR THE BUFFALO SAUCE:
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup catsup
Instructions
  1. FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN:
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except for the flour and oil. Marinate the chicken for 1 to 3 hours.
  3. Coat the marinated chicken with flour evenly.
  4. Heat cooking oil in a pan. Deep-fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove from heat then drain excess oil using wire rack or tissue paper.
  5. FOR THE BUFFALO SAUCE:
  6. In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix well. Pour the sauce to the fried chicken.
