Buko Salad is also known as Young Coconut Salad. Usually, it’s made of sweetened milk, cream, sago, nata de coco, kaong, and of course, strips of young coconut or buko. They are usually packed in small plastic containers so that the visitors can easily grab one for themselves. 

There’s no official recipe for the Buko Salad because you can easily incorporate other ingredients into it such as mango, lychee, tapioca pearls, macapuno, and many more. Moreover, all of the ingredients we’ll need can also be found in nearby grocery stores and local markets. Alright, shall we begin?

To start, the ingredients we’ll need are apple, cheese, Nestle cream, condensed milk, fruit cocktail, nata de coco, kaong, and most importantly, Buko or young coconut. Today, we’ll be using the most trusted brand of all-purpose cream which is Nestle. With Nestle, we’re all assured that the ingredients used for our cream are high-quality and trusted by people all over the world. Okay, now let’s start!

First up, we’ll be making the sauce for the salad. To do that, simply pour the cream and condensed milk into a mixing bowl. Be sure to stir thoroughly until both of the ingredients are well-combined. Next, combine the fruit cocktail, coconut meat, nata de coco, and kaong into one mixture. Then, pour the sauce consisting of cream and condensed milk onto the ingredients and mix well. Keep on mixing until the sauce is fully incorporated into all of the ingredients. 

We’re almost done! To finish it up, add some sliced cheese and apple to the mixture and then keep on mixing to evenly distribute all of the delightful flavors. Now you can proceed with refrigerating the Buko Salad mixture for best results. And voila! Just like that, your Buko Salad Recipe is all done and ready for serving!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups or 5 pcs. of Young Coconut Meat
  • 1 pc. Apple (slice cubes)
  • 1⁄2 pack Cheese (slice cubes)
  • 2 pcs. Nestle Cream
  • 1 pcs. Big can Condensed Milk
  • 1 big can of Fruit Cocktail (Remove juice)
  • 1 bottle of Nata De coco
  • 1 bottle of Kaong
Instructions
  1. Pour the nestle cream and condensed milk in the mixing bowl then mix well.
  2. Add the fruit cocktail, coconut meat, nata de coco, kaong. Pour the mixture milk and mix well
  3. Add sliced apple and slice cheese. Mix well
  4. Refrigerate the buko salad before serving.
  5. Serve and Enjoy!
